Founded in 1994 by Edward (Ed) and Annette Weesjes, Family Flowers has flourished into a beloved local business with deep family roots. Together with their four children—Jacklyn, Eddie, Mark, and Nathan—they transformed an empty field into the thriving greenhouse operation it is today.

While Ed and Annette are the proud owners, their children continue to play vital roles in the business. Jacklyn, who started selling plants from a picnic table as a child, is now the Retail Manager, overseeing advertising, marketing, customer service, and a team of dedicated employees. Mark, the Plant Manager, handles maintenance, works with Ed in the Wholesale Department, and ensures everything runs smoothly. Ed, who’s been in the greenhouse industry his entire life, is the main grower, carefully overseeing the crops and watering process. Annette takes care of the bookwork, packing orders, and organizing crops. Although Eddie and Nathan work outside the family business, they’re still active participants, often dropping by for coffee and updates.
