At Family Flowers, we believe in growing more than just plants — we believe in growing community. Each year, we’re proud to support local organizations, schools, and community initiatives through donations that help make a difference in St. Thomas and the surrounding region.
To ensure our support is meaningful and reaches as many people as possible, we focus on requests that align with our values: community engagement, education, beautification, and environmental stewardship. While we would love to fulfill every request, we receive many inquiries and may not be able to accommodate them all.
Donation requests can be submitted in person at Family Flowers, and we kindly ask for at least four weeks notice prior to your event. Successful applicants will be contacted directly.

Family Flowers is proud to be an important part of our community. We thank you for your support and for considering us as part of your fundraising event. Each year, we are asked to assist hundreds of worthwhile charitable causes and events, and we make every effort to accommodate as many requests as possible. Please remember that submitting a request does not guarantee a donation. Due to the many requests we receive, submission guidelines have been implemented to assist as many organizations as possible. Please take a moment to become familiar with the policies below before submitting your request.
Donation Request Submission Guidelines:
- All donation requests should be submitted in person at least four (4) weeks prior to the date of your event.
- Organizations must complete a DONATION REQUEST FORM to be considered.
- Family Flowers will consider requests from non-profit organizations and their fundraising efforts in the Elgin County area.
- Organizations are limited to one (1) request per twelve month period.
- Donations will be given in the form of Family Flowers plant products and/or Family Flowers gift card. No cash donations or purchasing of advertising space will be made.
- Family Flowers is unable to donate to for-profit companies, including employee/volunteer appreciation days and holiday events. You may inquire further into eligibility of discounted pricing for such events.

Family Flowers applauds the tireless efforts of the many fundraisers seeking donations for their organizations. Each request we receive is given careful consideration by one or more Family Flowers management personnel. While we try to respond positively to as many charitable organizations as possible, given the many hundreds of requests we receive annually, we regret we cannot contribute to all of them. If your request is not approved at this time, please keep us in mind for next year.
